He’s been tearing up in the English Premier League this season and since his £25m move from Celtic two seasons ago, Kieran Tierney has proved to be an integral part of Arsenal’s first team.

In his maiden season with The Gunners, Tierney helped guide the London club to F.A. Cup and Community Shield glory and has been earning rave reviews from the English press for his dynamism, passion and sheer talent.

Since his impressive displays for Scotland in the triple World Cup qualifying fixtures, pundits and ex professionals have been tipping the ex Celtic full back to move onto bigger and better things with clubs like Manchester United, Man City and even the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona being tipped to steal the Scottish international.

Should Leigh Griffiths get another year at Celtic?

NO

Speaking on The Go Radio Football Show, ex Celtic player and current Sky Sports commentator, Davie Provan, reckons that Tierney will eventually command fees TRIPLE the original transfer total Arsenal paid Celtic for his services, “They’ll be pinching themselves that they got him for £25 million. When you look at the like of Ben Chilwell and one or two others are going for me.

“I mean Arsenal will get double that or even treble that right now he has been so impressive.

“I’m not sure Arsenal would sell him to a rival. But, you know, who’s to say a Barcelona or Real Madrid wouldn’t come in for Kieran Tierney the way he is playing?

“I’m not joking here I think he’s that good. He’s that good that he could go anywhere.”

This is not the first time Celtic have been tipped for a massive cash windfall in the last few weeks and with three years left on his current contract, if Arsenal do decide to cash in, then they could almost name their price for the full back which will only benefit Celtic who have a reported 15% sell on clause activated on any future Tierney deals.
