Highly respected journalist Ekrem Konur tweeted last night that he expected the transfer of Filipe Jota to Celtic to happen soon. In a simple tweet yesterday:

Filipe Jota currently plies his trade with Benfica and Celtic are hoping to seal a loan move for the 22 year old Portugal u19 star.
Jota was part of the international youth team that won the European Championships in 2018 and is very highly rated as he finished the as the tournaments top goal scorer and was named in the Best XI
Jota spent last season on loan with Spanish side Real Valladolid in La Liga however he only managed to net one goal in seventeen appearances The Daily Record believes the Portuguese cracks are hoping to sending the winger out on loan again to gain more experience.
This would be a statement of real intent for the season and will send a message to the Celtic support that Angeball is here to stay.
